Great Missenden

The Great Missenden Local Community Area has a population of just over 16,500 comprising the two parishes of Great Missenden and Little Missenden. The two main centres within the area are Great Missenden and Prestwood although the key urban areas of Chesham, Amersham, High Wycombe and Princes Risborough also provide important services.  The A413 is a key route for the community linking with Aylesbury to the north and Gerrards Cross to south of the county. The A4128 links Great Missenden with the A40 and High Wycombe.

Transport Matters event

This event gave the public the opportunity to make comments on the AAP and transport in the local area. The main issues raised are as follows::

• The need for better integration between bus and rail services.
• Speeding traffic
• Safety issues with overgrown hedges

These comments and concerns have been passed on to the relevant teams within the Transportation Service, These teams will take the comments into consideration and take action where appropriate.
