Strategies and reports

This page includes new transport strategies developed during the second Local Transport Plan period (2006-2011) and reports detailing the results of  internal reviews and consultations with members of the public and key transport stakeholders in Buckinghamshire.

Member Stakeholder Survey 2008

A telephone survey was conducted in February 2008 to assess Member and Stakeholder views of transportation in Buckinghamshire. Those targeted included all County Councillors, all District Councillors, all parish councils and members of other interest groups.  A database of 396 contacts was provided to the market research company and 198 telephone interviews were conducted, providing a conversion rate of 50%.  A summary of the report is available to download below.

Transport Symposia Consultation Report 2008

Buckinghamshire County Council held three Transport Symposia events in Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern & South Bucks and Wycombe Districts during February 2008.  One of the main objectives of the symposia was to gauge the views of a wide range of stakeholders on our delivery of our LTP2 strategies, and hear from them what actions we should be taking to improve our performance and address current and emerging problems, concerns, and opportunities.  The report is available to download below.

Buckinghamshire LTP2 Progress Report 2008

The Second Buckinghamshire Local Transport Plan (LTP2) is a five-year plan (2006-2011) setting out the County Council’s local transport strategies, policies, and implementation programme. The Buckinghamshire LTP2 Progress Report 2008 is a broad-based review outlining progress towards targets, how we use our resources, an update on delivery of key actions and a review of the risks and opportunities we face over the remainder of the LTP2 period. The report appendices contain specific information regarding the integration of Buckinghamshire Air Quality Action Plans (AQAPs) with the LTP 2 and progress towards implementing the Network Management Duty.
