Consultation report

Consultation has played a major part in the development of the Local Transport Plan (LTP2) and is essential in the preparation of the nineteen Area Action Plans (AAPs). Throughout the development of Provisional LTP2 and AAPs we have requested and received information from the public and stakeholders through letters, emails, and at the 19 'Transport Matters' events that were held around the county between October and December 2005.

We recognise that in the past we may not are provided the responses to your comments. This Consultation report has been prepared from the detailed feedback received and to provide responses to those who have taken the time to contact us with their comments and concerns.

The report comprises six parts:

  1. Introduction
  2. Second Local Transport Plan - Comment and responses on the provisional document.
  3. *Aylesbury Vale District
  4. *Chiltern District
  5. *South Bucks District
  6. *Wycombe District

* Contain all of the individual action plan areas with feedback from the draft AAPs and 'Transport Matters' Events, plus general area specific comments.

Comments within these sections are divided into the main themes of the LTP2; accessibility, congestion, environment, road safety and maintenance. General comments can be found at the start of each section and similar comments have been grouped together to give a more detailed response to be provided.

The report is in a tabular form with 3 columns:

  • The first column contains the name of the person/ group that gave the feedback; if this is blank the feedback was given anonymously.
  • The second column contains the comments given at either the Transport Matters event, by letter or by email.
  • The third column gives a response to the feedback from an appropriate officer within the County Council.
