Fly posting
In the first instance it is the responsibility of the District Council to deal with fly posting. Contact the District Council Planning Enforcement Officer. This applies to buildings, fences, walls or other private property. The District Council will be able to advise on any exemptions or consents that may exist.
The highway authority has powers to remove posters, signs and other street furniture.
Priority for action will depend upon level of nuisance caused, determined by Transport for Buckinghamshire staff.
We have the ability to devolve to Parish/Town Councils the responsibility to deal with some offending materials on the highway.
