Quality service
We aim to operate a well managed and efficient service which will ensure good quality, affordable services to you.
We will:
- Be open, accessible and make customer care and responsiveness conspicuous in our daily activities.
- Attempt to answer all telephone calls within five rings and efficiently direct you to the appropriate person.
- Respond to all written correspondence, faxes and emails within 10 working days, either in full or, where matters require additional enquiries need to be made, to indicate when a full response may be expected.
- Keep all relevant parties informed of the progress of lengthy investigations on at least a monthly basis or other agreed interval.
- Respond promptly where there is significant or immediate safety threat to you.
- Advise you of the time scale and cost of certain services we provide.
- Attempt to meet all performance targets set for us by the government and County Council.
- Listen and take account of what you tell us about the services you would like us to give you.
- In the event of any complaint about our officers or service, we will rigorously follow the complaints procedures for Trading standards and the County Council.
