We offer a home teaching approach to support families with a pre-school child who has a significant developmental delay and/or special need.
This includes:
- Identification of the child's current and emerging skills
- Appropriate long term goals
- Short-term goals with learning activities to promote development
- Regular visits to support parents/carers
The emphasis is on success and learning being fun for both the parents/carers and child. Between visits the parents/carers practice planned activities with their child. Checklists and activity charts provide a record of the child's progress.
