Service delivery
The Educational Psychology Service provides an open access consultation service to all maintained schools, professionals, parents/carers of children and young people aged 0 - 19 whose learning and/or development is giving significant cause for concern. Direct involvement with children and young people is based on professional judgement and consideration of agreed priorities (see document below). These are related to Buckinghamshire's Children's Trust objectives and the Children and Young People's Plan. Educational Psychologists provide consultation, assessment and intervention advice as well as targeted therapeutic and specialist services.
All Educational Psychologists are registered or working under supervision towards registration with the Health Professions Council and are subject to enhanced CRB checks every 3 years.
Please call Aylesbury 01296 383219 or Amersham 01494 732187 or email eps@buckscc.gov.uk if you wish to have an informal, preliminary consultation about your concerns.
