Schools meals are managed by each individual school.

Special schools

Special schools provide meals at lunchtime. Boarding schools provide three meals a day. 

Secondary schools

Most secondary schools offer meals lunchtime. Some also provide breakfast and a morning break service. Check with your school for more information.

Primary schools

Most primary schools do not offer a hot meal service at lunchtime. Pupils bring their own packed lunch. Check with your school for more information.

Free school meals

The allocation of free school meals is handled by each school.
