Online childcare survey launched
Date: 01-07-2010
An online survey has been launched for all parents and carers to give us their views on childcare provision in Buckinghamshire.
Buckinghamshire County Council will be consulting with parents, carers and employers over the next three months to find out if there is enough childcare available to meet the needs of working families, those wishing to return to work, or to undertake training. Findings from the survey will be published in March 2011 and will be used to plan future childcare provision.
The survey can be completed online at www.buckscc.gov.uk/childcaresurvey. There is also an opportunity for three people who complete the survey before September 24, to each win £100 worth of high street vouchers.
Steve Adams, Cabinet member for Achievement and Learning said: "Choosing childcare is an important and very personal decision. The different types of childcare available may seem confusing without enough information. We carry out the survey every three years to help us ensure there is enough high quality, affordable childcare available to all parents, so that they can rest assured they are making the right decision for their children."
