Buckinghamshire’s entrepreneurs, business leaders and inspiring educators from across the county have submitted their applications for the prestigious Bucks Enterprise Awards 2010 and today the judging panel has just revealed the shortlist of nominations.
Now in its fourth year, the Bucks Enterprise Awards is proving more popular than ever with the number of entrants in 2010 tripling compared to previous years. This has made the judging panel’s job much tougher, as the standard of entries has been so high. Despite this, the shortlist of entrants vying for top spot in each of the eight categories has just been announced and are as follows:

“The number of entries has tripled this year. The Buckinghamshire Ambassadors are really looking forward to the awards ceremony which will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Thursday 11th February, and will be a worthy showcase for the entrepreneurial heart of Britain”
Chairman of Buckinghamshire County Council and President of the Bucks Ambassadors network, Cllr Richard Pushman, added: “Businesses across Buckinghamshire are working hard to beat the recession and the County Council knows this. The Enterprise Awards 2010 is just one of many ways this authority and the Buckinghamshire Economic and Learning Partnership are helping companies survive through these tough times. To win an award is great accolade ,recognition for excellence and the hard work of employees.”
