Café and walled garden

Hot and cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches and hot soup on cold days. Our garden is a sheltered oasis in the middle of Aylesbury. Enjoy your lunch in our tranquil garden and wander through the museum galleries to refresh your spirits.

Whizzpopping birthday parties at the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery

Combine a one hour session in the Dahl Gallery (£4 per person) with a party in our Learning Zone. Party room hire £40 per 1.5 hours, goodie bags of RDCG souvenirs & chocolate £3.50 each, free special birthday card and activity sheets. Food can be provided or do bring your own.

Museum - admission free

Wide-ranging and changing programme of exhibitions, something to interest everyone. Lunchtime gallery talks 12.30 every Wednesday. Keep a What’s On leaflet on your desk or join the free museum monthly e-newsletter service.

School bookings

We are also able to take group and school bookings. At your request, we will tailor school visits to meet your needs and those of the curriculum. The museum is the perfect place to bring children to learn whilst they play.
