Community libraries

These are managed by local community organisations and volunteers rather than Buckinghamshire County Council. You can use your Buckinghamshire library membership card in a community library and reserve items as usual. 

Data protection

We have an agreement with the organisations managing the Community Libraries. This includes access to data held in the Buckinghamshire Library Management System.

Community Library access to and use of this data is in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. The Community Library has entered into a Data Sharing Protocol with Buckinghamshire County Council.
