High Wycombe parish registers

Local History Room

Parish Registers are another important resource for family historians. The registers of over 220 Buckinghamshire parish churches have been deposited at the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies and include details of baptisms, marriages, banns and burials, dating back to the mid-16th century.

Many of these registers pre-1900 are now available on microfilm and can be viewed in the in High Wycombe Local History section within High Wycombe Library. Transcripts of many earlier registers are also available at the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies in Aylesbury.
