Teenagers launch HeadSpace at High Wycombe Library
High Wycombe library is delighted that HeadSpace has now been launched. This is a completely different kind of library provision developed and run in partnership with young people and The Reading Agency, the independent charity working to get more people reading more.
Youngsters are involved in the design, planning and running of their new HeadSpace, where they can chill out and enjoy cutting-edge reading experiences. Local teenagers have been at the heart of developing this visionary new approach to teenage library services in High Wycombe library.
‘I think the opening of HeadSpace High Wycombe will be great for young people locally because it'll be nice place for young people of different age groups to come together, chill out and get to know what other people are thinking’, says 17 year old Chloe Deadman, who has been involved from the outset with HeadSpace High Wycombe
HeadSpace High Wycombe is part of a national project funded by the Big Lottery and managed by The Reading Agency .
