Room 3 - The Wessex Room
Our smaller room is suitable for 4 people seated around a table. There's also a sink and unit in the room with tea and coffee making facilities. The room has two doors for security as well as a panic alarm.
Price per hour - £10 for community/charity use and £16.20 for commercial use.
Prices may be negotiable if you're making several bookings or booking for long periods.
Equipment hire charges:
- Flip charts & pen: £3
- Overhead or data projector: £10
- Interactive whiteboard: £10
- Surround sound audio system: free
Room letting and hire of equipment does not incur VAT.
10% insurance charge added unless hirer shows proof of 3rd party insurance. Terms & conditions apply.

Display Space
This facility has now been moved to the 1st floor of the library, outside the lifts. All other elements of the service remain the same.
Display screens
On the ground floor and at points around the library are flat screen monitors giving events information. These can also be used to advertise your meeting or by non profit making organisations and charities to promote their work.
