Community Libraries

Buckinghamshire has four community libraries that are not managed by us. Buckinghamshire library membership cards are valid in the community libraries at Chalfont St.Giles, Little Chalfont, and West Wycombe. The community library at Steeple Claydon is independent.

Data protection

Buckinghamshire County Council has entered into a Service Level Agreement with the organisations managing the Community Libraries at  West Wycombe, Little Chalfont and Chalfont St.Giles. This agreement includes access to the data held in the Buckinghamshire Library Management System.

Community Library access to and use of this data will be in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. The Community Library has entered into a Data Sharing Protocol with Buckinghamshire County Council to that effect.
