Events Search

You can search for events in a number of ways:

By date

By default the search will search for all events occurring over the next year. If you want to search for an event over a specific period you can modify the date range by either typing in the Start date and end date (DD/MM/YYYY) or by clicking the calendar icon* to the right of each date and selecting the date from the calendar.

When you have completed the date fields you can click on Go or add further options.

The date search on its own will bring up all events for the chosen dates.

*Please note: if you do not have Javascript enabled on your browser, the calendar will not be available and you will need to type in the required dates.

Search by keyword or postcode

Searches for any events that contain the specific keyword or postcode you type in. eg  if you add ‘library’ as a keyword the search will return all events with library in the description or title. If you add a postcode it will search for any events within that postcode.

If you have also selected a date the results will be within the selected date range.

Reset

If you wish to clear any search, click on the reset button to take you back to the summary page for current events.

Filter by age

This will filter your search results by the age range you select. Click Go to refresh these results

Event details

Once you have your list of relevant events, click on the title of those that are of interest. This will take you to a separate page which gives you all the information about the event.

Location map

You can view a map for the location of any event by clicking the Location map link. This will take you to a Multimap page based upon the event location postcode.

Select this link to find all events organised by the same organisation

Printing

If you would like to print out any event details use the print icon in your browser tool bar.
