Scheme of delegations

This allows officers to take decisions on behalf of the Council. It describes what each officer post has responsibility for.

The Council Functions document, to be read with the Council Functions addendum, describes the scheme of delegation by the Chief Executive (Chris Williams) to officers of Council Functions and Local Choice Functions which are not the responsibility of the executive.

The Executive Functions document, to be read iwith the Executive Functions addendum, describes the scheme of delegation by the Chief Executive to Officers of Executive Functions and Local Choice Functions which are the responsibility of the Leader (Martin Tett) and Cabinet.

The Children's Services document describes the delegation of Children's Services Functions to the Director of Children's Services.
