The Bernwood Jubilee Way is a 61mile trail cutting across 27 parishes and provides one of the most ambitious projects in Aylesbury Vale to promote outdoor activity. The path links together sections of the rights of way network to give access to this forgotten forest.
The Bernwood Jubilee Guidebook will help you discover, experience, explore and appreciate the 'lost heritage' and quality of the surrounding landscape.
Using the Bernwood Jubilee Way as a foundation route, the guidebook provides over 48 miles of interpreted trail within and around the forest boundary. There are information panels along the trail that help bring the landscape to life. The 10 walks vary from 2-10 miles and have full instructions. Each one has something to offer, whether your interested in history, ecology, architecture, landscape or just pleasant views and nice pubs!
The guide promotes local pubs, B&Bs, hotels, facilities and visitor attractions. It also includes information on public transport routes and car parking.
You can get a free guidebook by contacting the Rights of Way & Access Group.
