Charges

The Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies makes a charge for some services provided. Please contact us if you require further details about any of our charges. All cheques should be drawn in sterling and made payable to Buckinghamshire County Council.

Copying charges

All including VAT; overseas charges vary slightly, please enquire with the Centre for further details

Photocopying charges

Photocopies of items in Local Studies and Archive search-rooms	10p per sheet A4 50p for a colour copy 20p per sheet A3 £1 for a colour copy
Photocopies of documents produced from the Archive strong-rooms	60p per sheet A4 90p for a colour copy 80p per sheet A3 £1 for a colour copy
Photocopy of a will (regardless of length)	£4.20 per will (£5 minimum by post)
Print-outs from microfilm	50p per sheet
Print-outs from computer	10p per sheet
Minimum charge for copies sent by post (including vehicle licensing copies)	£5 inc. p&p
Minimum charge for business copies sent by post	£10 inc. p&p
Photographic handling charge	£5
Charge for using a camera in the search-rooms - payable daily	£5

Research charges

Search fee for commercial purposes (including legal research, etc.)	£50 +VAT per hour
Look ups in parish registers, electoral rolls etc.	£5
Inclusion in list of independent record agents	£25 per calendar year

Reproduction and publication fees

For permission to reproduce an item in an exhibition or publication, please contact us for further details.

Lecture fees

Lectures by staff and group visits to the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies	£40 +VAT per lecture/group, plus expenses
Palaeography classes (including provision of photocopies)	£55 +VAT inc. expenses
