Supporting People
Supporting People is a government run programme which helps fund local organisations who provide housing related support.
These organisations offer support with sheltered accomodation or in the home to:
- people with learning disabilities and mental health problems
- vulnerable young people
- homeless people
- older people who need support
- people with physical disabilities
- people at risk of offending
- people with drug or alcohol problems
- people who need to escape domestic violence
- people with HIV/AIDS
- teenage parents
- travellers and refugees
