Funding

If your organisation is planning a short term project working with vulnerable people in Buckinghamshire you may be eligible for funding from us. These funding opportunities are aimed at projects that provide practical support to vulnerable people and to help them live independently.

Applications will be processed on a monthly basis, please send your application to us before the 15th of each month. These will then be assessed firstly by the Supporting People team, then by the Supporting People Commissioning Body. A decision will normally be made within 4 weeks.

Your application must meet our eligibility criteria and score highly against our Supporting People assessment matrix. Due to funding restrictions projects need to be completed within this financial year.

Using the Supporting People matrix

You will see that the matrix comprises, across the top, all the National Indicators that Supporting People projects could have an impact upon.

It is essential that your project complies with at least one of the first three areas:

1. Strategic Fit with SP Priorities
2. Number of vulnerable people achieving independent living (NI141)
3. Number of vulnerable people who are supported to maintain independent living (NI142)

If your project fails to meet one of these areas it will not be eligible for funding from us.

Working across to the right, put an “x” in the boxes that you believe your project will apply to, you will see that there is a number below the description of the indicator – that is the weighting score we have attributed to this particular indicator. 

Mark the boxes that you believe your project will apply to – the higher your project scores the greater the likelihood that we will be able to assist with funding.
