Commissioning and partnerships
We need to make best use of the money we are given to ensure you receive the best care services and that they are the right services. We work with other organisations to plan and deliver these services.
There are two main areas to finding and approving care services:
Strategic Commissioning
- Continuously assesses the needs of the population
- Consults with people who use the services and those who provide them
- Develops strategies, services and partnerships
Brokerage
- Approves care providers
- Negotiates best prices
- Purchases services
The documents below contain information on how we shape our services to match the needs of vulnerable adults in Buckinghamshire.
