Chairman of the Council

The Chairman of Council is the civic and ceremonial head of the Authority and represents the County Council at events in the county and the wider south east. 

The role is apolitical, the Chairman is a County Councillor who represents the whole Council. Each year the County Councillors elect a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman.

This year our Chairman is Mike Colston and our Vice-Chairman is Marion Clayton. The Chairman also promotes the county in his role as President of the Buckinghamshire Ambassadors.
