Residents panel

Do you have ideas about how we can make Buckinghamshire a better place to live? Do you want to influence decision making and have your voice heard? We are looking for Buckinghamshire residents to join our partnership panel.

You could take part in online surveys, focus groups and discussion forums that help us understand what our residents want from us and the services we offer. Recent subjects have included children and young people's services, housing, libraries, presentation of our financial accounts and transportation.

Send us an email if you're interested in joining our panel.

Our commitment to consultation

  • We will be clear about the reason for any consultation activity and be open about that with those involved.
  • We will co-ordinate consultation across the County Council to ensure the best use of resources.
  • We will plan and manage our consultations so that all people are able to take part recognising that some people will require more time and resources to respond.
  • We will be clear and open about how the responses will be used.
  • We will use Plain English and keep each consultation jargon free.
  • We will ensure that all consultations are useful and that decision makers are ready and able to act on the results of any consultation.
  • We will feed back the results of the consultation to those involved, and where appropriate and relevant to a wider audience.
  • We will share findings across the council, linking results to our corporate priorities.
  • We will publicise improvements and changes to services and facilities arising from customer feedback.
  • Our consultations will endeavour to reach all residents within our county and where appropriate we will use formats that make consultation accessible to all.
