The following organisations provide Criminal Record Bureau checks for voluntary organisations. Please contact them directly for more information.

South Bucks District Council

Can carry out checks within the South Bucks District for £10 per check. Contact them on 01895 837200 for more details. 

Aylesbury Vale District Council

Offer this service to organisations already linked to them. They will charge an admin fee of £15 +VAT per check, on top of the cost of the check. Please contact them on 01296 585858 for more details.
 

Buckinghamshire County Council

We can act as the umbrella body for organisations we already have close working links but cannot act for other organisations. If an organisation already has close working links with us and wants us to act as its umbrella body, then that organisation will need to register with us to become an 'umbrella client'.  A pack of information, which includes a 'Service Contract' will be issued to the organisation.  The contract must be completed and returned to us before any CRB Application Forms can be processed for an umbrella client. We apply an administration fee of £15 for each CRB Application Form processed - for employees as well as volunteers. For more details, please contact Andy Hallsworth on 01296 383230.

The CRB website contains a list of national bodies that are prepared to act as umbrella bodies. They can be contacted on www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk.

The Society of Mucopolysaccharide Diseases (MPS) will offer an “Enhanced & Standard Disclosure Service” for Volunteers for £10. Please contact 0845 3899901 for more details.
