Stoke Place

Stoke Place in Buckinghamshire is a restored 17th Century mansion, standing impressively within extensive gardens designed by Capability Brown. Only 30 minutes from London, the quintessentially rural house and gardens offer an easily accessible location for an English Country Wedding. With a six acre ornamental lake and 26 acres of manicured grounds the location is a beautiful backdrop to any ceremony.

Stoke Place has its own experienced wedding co-ordinator who will work with you throughout the planning to ensure your wedding is wholly bespoke to you and your partner.  With seven separate spaces from which to choose from, we are able to cater for a wedding of any size and format. The house has seven public spaces, ranging from small private dining rooms which seat fourteen people to our large ballroom which can seat up to 200 guests.  Three of these beautiful rooms are licensed to hold weddings and civil partnerships.

Each of the 29 bedrooms and seven public spaces are eclectically designed, offering a combination of traditional elegance, style and modern design. The kitchen serves a locally sourced, seasonal menu of contemporary British food and seasonal cocktails are served in the bar overlooking the grounds.
