Notley Abbey

Notley Abbey is a wonderful grade 1 listed country manor dating from the 13th century but finished to the standards of the 21st century.  The property is only available on an exclusive use basis - the house, grounds and the seven bedrooms are all at your disposal.  Notley Abbey is set in beautiful gardens on the banks of the River Thame.  The stone barn, with its oak floor, has been transformed into the Banqueting Hall which makes a superb setting for your wedding banquet.  It can accommodate 160 guests for a seated or buffet-style meal. 

Notley Abbey is licensed for civil ceremonies both inside and, unusually, outside.  You can choose from the Abbot's Hall, the Banqueting Hall and the Garden Sanctuary for your ceremony.  Notley Abbey was previously the home of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh - but you can make it your home for your special day.  We have a full range of staff to cater for all your requirements, including an in-house chef and a wedding day manager.
